Boyd H. Anderson High Alumni Scholarship Fund
In Memory of Maurice Williams and Craig Chambers
The Boyd H. Anderson High School Scholarship Fund is pleased to invite you to take part in our inaugural Scholarship Competition in conjunction with the Broward Education Foundation. This scholarship was established in honor of Maurice Williams and Craig Chambers, who were tragically killed on November 23, 1999 by a wrong-way, drunk driver. Maurice and Craig were the brothers of Courtney Chambers and close friend to Donnell Bowen, 1998 graduates of Boyd Anderson. Raised by a loving mother, who stressed education, Courtney and Craig were the first in their family to attend a four-year college or university. Recognition in the value of education and scholastic achievement is the catalyst for initiating this scholarship, and serves as a way for Courtney, Donnell, many friends and past graduates to give back to their alma mater.
