FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Broward Education Foundation in collaboration with Destination Dorm delivered dorm essentials to Broward County public high school graduating seniors who have experienced homelessness during a recent drive-through senior send-off ceremony.

The graduating seniors, who are registered with the Broward County Public Schools Homeless Education Assistance Resource Team (H.E.A.R.T.), received dorm essentials, including bedding, pillows, laundry baskets, lamps and more.

“We are so proud of all of our graduates and are so happy to help these hard-working students start the next leg of their educational journey on the right foot,” said Shea Ciriago, executive director of Broward Education Foundation. “Together with Destination Dorm, we are sending these students off to college with the basic essential supplies that they will need to get started in the next phase of their life.”
