(Fort Lauderdale, Fla) -Jean McIntyre, vice president of IBERIABANK, has been named to the Board of Directors for Broward Education Foundation, a 501(c)3 organization dedicated to transforming the lives of Broward County Public School students through the support of quality education.

Broward Education Foundation contributes nearly $3 million to Broward County schools, serving as the catalyst for educational excellence.

McIntyre also serves as a board member for Partners in Education, which partners with Broward Education Foundation as the go-to resource for businesses and organizations that are committed to having a positive impact on Broward County Public Schools, students and teachers. Among the other boards she serves on are Ann Storck Center, Broward Partnership for the Homeless and Greater Fort Lauderdale Alliance. In 2016, McIntyre was recognized as a Woman of Distinction by March of Dimes and the Community Champion for Deliver the Dream.

A resident of Pembroke Pines, she earned her degree from Barry University.
