Important Information Before You Shop

  • Title I Teachers can shop twice during the school year- once between August and December, and once again between January and June. If you miss shopping in the fall you are not entitled to two shopping visits in the spring.
  • Teachers are entered in our database at one school. If you teach at more than one school, you must choose a school. You are free to allocate supplies as you deem appropriate.
  • You may only shop for your classroom, and may not shop for a colleague.
  • NO SHOPPING COMPANIONS OR CHILDREN ARE ALLOWED INSIDE THE SCHOOL SUPPLY CENTER. THIS IS STANDARD POLICY AT CENTERS AROUND THE COUNTRY FOR LIABILITY REASONS. NO EXCEPTIONS. MINORS UNDER 14 MAY NOT BE LEFT OUTSIDE UNATTENDED.
  • 24-hour Cancellation Policy- If you are unable to make your appointment, please cancel 24-hours in advance to give others the opportunity to shop. Because appointments are always in high demand, “day of” cancellations or “no-shows” are not advisable.
  • Any combination of 2 “day of” cancellations or “no-shows” will result in shopping ineligibility until next school year.
  • When making an appointment, if you receive a “No Dates Available” error, currently all appointments full. Cancellations result in openings and new appointment dates are added each Friday before 12pm.
  • Please be punctual- Shopping appointments are for a specific date and time-slot. You must complete your shopping during your allotted time. For example: 3-3:45PM- your appointment begins at 3PM and you’ll be expected to check out no later than 3:45pm.
  • You MUST present your BCPS ID or driver’s license in order to shop.
  • Please contact your school liaison first for questions about Broward Education Foundation’s School Supply Center.
  • Please bring boxes or bags to take your supplies back to your school- we don’t always have boxes available.
