(Fort Lauderdale, Fla) – Do you know a distinguished alumnus of Broward County Public Schools? Nominate them for the Broward Education Foundation Hall of Fame Distinguished Alumni Awards which recognizes alumni who have made positive contributions to education, the community and have achieved success in their careers.

Nomination forms are available at www.browardedfoundation.org/nominate. Deadline for nominations is Friday, June 30.

The Outstanding Achievement Award is presented to an alumnus who has made significant achievements in any field; the Lifetime Achievement Award is presented to an alumnus who was dedicated to improving public education; and the Education Achievement Award is presented to an alumnus who has dedicated their careers to public education.

The Broward Education Foundation Hall of Fame Distinguished Alumni Awards is set for 7:30 a.m. on Thursday, October 19 at First Baptist Church of Fort Lauderdale Global Grille Event Center, 301 E Broward Blvd. Individual tickets are $35.

“Each year we are so impressed by the applications we receive,” said Shea Ciriago, Executive Director of the Broward Education Foundation. “There are so many illustrious alumni of our fine school system who have done so much for our community and deserve to be recognized.”
