FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – (July 9, 2024) – Dustin Jacobs has been named Chair of the Broward Education Foundation Board of Directors.

“Dustin has been a passionate and dedicated board officer for the past several years, and we’re thrilled that he’s now leading the board,” said James A. Knapp, president and CEO of Broward Education Foundation. “His experience and vision are an asset to us as we continue to support and serve the students and teachers in Broward County Public Schools.”

As vice president of marketing for BrightStar Credit Union, Jacobs oversees the marketing department, which includes the development of strategic marketing plans, company branding and retail strategies, as well as implementing media relations and community relations campaigns for one of the largest credit unions in South Florida.

Jacobs sits on the Board of Directors for the Greater Pompano Beach Lighthouse Point Chamber of Commerce and Partners in Education. He is also a board member of ArtServe Fort Lauderdale and is in the League of Southeastern Credit Unions’ Young Professionals Group. In addition, he is part of the Credit Union National Association’s Marketing and Business Development Council.
