Broward Education Foundation hosted IDEA EXPO for Broward County Public Schools teachers

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – (February 9, 2023) – Broward Education Foundation hosted the Broward Teachers Union 26th Annual Innovative Teacher IDEA EXPO Presented by Office Depot on Saturday, February 4 at Fort Lauderdale High School.

The interactive IDEA EXPO showcased dozens of exciting educational workshops and presentations illustrating effective and dynamic teaching strategies.

Attendees interacted with more than 35 grant-winning innovative teachers in Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) who displayed their projects and hosted sessions detailing increased student learning outcomes. Participants received access to links featuring each project that included course outlines, lesson plans, resource lists, student worksheets, and tools to help adapt projects to their classroom.

In addition to Broward Teachers Union and Office Depot, other partners in Broward Education Foundation’s Innovative Teacher Idea EXPO include State of Florida District Education Foundation’s Matching Grants Program, City of Hollywood, Bank of America, BrightStar Credit Union, AT&T, State Farm, Carol and Fred Showker, Museum of Discovery & Science, Regions Bank and the University of West Florida.
