Thank you for choosing to celebrate the life of our beloved son, brother, nephew, and friend by donating to the Daniel Egnor Memorial Scholarship. Daniel was one of the kindest, funniest, and most generous people we’ve ever known and we are so grateful that you are helping to keep his memory alive. Daniel taught United States History and American Government at Everglades High School in Miramar, Florida. He had a special gift for teaching and connecting with his students, particularly those that struggled in school or at home. We are grateful to be able to honor his memory by offering an annual scholarship to a student at EHS.
For the next two years, we will be lucky enough to offer this scholarship to students that Daniel had taught. Each student will be asked to write a brief essay about how Daniel impacted their life, and the recipient will be chosen by family and friends with input from his close colleagues. The student chosen to receive this scholarship should possess several of Daniel’s most loved qualities, including an honest and fair character, a strong work ethic with a passion for learning, and a good sense of humor.
Daniel made this world a better place. We thank you for your donation and for helping us carry on his incredible spirit.
