New Oceanfront restaurant gives 10 percent of first week of sales to non-profit

POMPANO BEACH, Fla. – To celebrate the debut of Oceanic at Pompano Beach Pier, the oceanfront dining destination donated 10 percent of its first week of sales to Broward Education Foundation.

With stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean, the 20,000-square-foot, 9,750 square-feet under air, beach-chic restaurant is located at 250 North Pompano Beach Boulevard in Pompano Beach.

“We launched our family owned and operated business in Broward County more than 40 years ago,” said Lou Moshakos, Founder & CEO of LM Restaurant, Inc. “We’ve come full circle and are proud to return and support the local community and charities such as Broward Education Foundation which helps so many students reach their full potential.”

Broward Education Foundation aligns with Broward County Public Schools by providing grants for teachers who develop innovative curriculum that increases student outcomes; vitally needed school supplies for students and teachers in Title I schools; scholarships for qualified high school seniors; and support for programs and initiatives like Debate, Scholastic Chess, TurnAround Arts, STEM and more. Each year, Broward Education Foundation contributes more than $3 million to Broward County schools, serving as the catalyst for educational excellence.
